MaSTer Manager
This programme offers you a range of skills and the good practices you need if you are moving into a new management role, or if (whatever your previous job or professional experience) you would like to further develop your understanding and use of effective management tools and techniques.
Is this course right for you?
This programme is designed to be participative with a mixture of short inputs, small group discussions and activities. There is a self-diagnostic enabling you to explore your preferred management style and time to analyse and reflect on the results. The material is based on sound theory with references and reading to follow-up as you wish. You will experience accelerated learning techniques throughout the course to ensure effective learning and application in your real life situations.
Once the course is complete you should be able to:
- Be clear about your role and responsibilities as a manager in your organisation
- Make you more aware of your strengths and capabilities within managerial activities
- Apply practical techniques for motivating, managing diversity, delegating, prioritising, managing perfromance and respond appropriately in different situations and through change
- Have a greater awareness of what it means to be an emotionally intelligent manager and to build a high perfromance team

How is the course conducted?
The course is conducted as a 2 day workshop session held either at MaST's CBD location or on your own premises. The session is engaging and stimulating yet relevant to the audience in both style and content by including role plays, continual opportunities for discussion, and activities.
Our workshop groups are limited to 10 participants (a minimum of 6 is required), to ensure opportunities for individual attention and an enhanced learning experience.
You will be provided with a comprehensive course manual, access to MaST's post-course online resources, and ongoing telephone support from the team at MaST.
